Light breakfast: coconut yoghurt, probiotic, muesli and fruit.
Coconut yoghurt as a dairy alternative and easier to digest, with a soil-based probiotic, for some friendly bacteria and muesli. Muesli can be made if you have the ingredients but this was bought from Primrose Kitchen (gluten-free oats, carrot, apple, coconut sugar, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, linseeds, cinnamon, chia seeds, psyllium husks…..if making at home just try without the coconut sugar).
Topped with banana and pomegranate. Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants called Punicalagins and also Punicic acid – studies (click here) have shown it to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL), reduce high blood pressure, increase blood flow to the heart, and lower inflammatory markers in the body.
