Magnesium Gel Sport is a highly concentrated solution of magnesium chloride.
What is Magnesium Chloride?
Magnesium chloride, a natural salt of magnesium, was plentiful in the Zechstein Sea around 250 million years ago.
Over time, this water filled underground deposits and as a result, was trapped by overlying rock. Whilst the Zechstein Sea no longer exists, the beds were preserved and are now mined in Northern Holland.
For this reason, the magnesium chloride is as it existed millions of years ago – unadulterated, ultra pure and free from any pollutants.
Magnesium Health Benefits…
Magnesium is needed for hundreds of enzyme reactions in the body and specifically, inside our cells.
It’s a macro mineral and needed by the body in large amounts.
In the UK it’s suggested that approximately 70% of the population are probably deficient in this essential mineral, from teenagers through to the elderly.
As a result, this can cause a whole range of health-related problems.
For example, just a few of Magnesium Gel benefits* include:
- Muscle Function
- Electrolyte Balance
- Teeth & Bones
- Psychological Function
- Protein Synthesis
- Functioning of the Nervous System
- Reduces Tiredness & Fatigue
- …..plus many more!
(*authorised claims specifically taken from the EU directive on Nutrition & Health for Magnesium).
Transdermal Magnesium, how it works…
Healthstrong ‘through the skin’ transdermal Magnesium Gel is an innovative and efficient way to replenish magnesium levels.
When applied directly to the skin, the Magnesium Gel absorbs through the pores and through to the blood vessels and muscles.
Importantly, it bypasses the digestive system where many nutrients are lost and typically, with other forms of magnesium supplementation, a laxative effect can be caused.
Studies and Trials have shown that Transdermal Magnesium absorbs better than a tablet or capsule form.
‘Zechstein Inside’ magnesium…
We are committed to providing the finest and most natural magnesium oil, so we use ‘Zechstein Inside’ magnesium chloride.
Firstly, this is mined straight from the source, in Northern Holland, at a depth of 1600+ metres below ground level. Then, a rigorous procedure is followed and analysed, before each batch produced.
